A big shout out to our sister in law, Kim, who came by while we were away to water the garden. We had Kim "feed" the garden today. That was the first time we had given it plant food since we planted. Ron noticed a few "burn" marks on some of the plants. He said its either from the manure, or perhaps the plant food. He is keeping an eye on it. Our tomato plants already have small tomatoes on them. Very exciting!
Its been VERY chilly and rainy here the past few days. At night, its gone down to the mid-40s. I am hoping that the plants hold up. I am told that its best to plant after mid-May (known to be end of frost for the New England area) or to wait until June 1st...We shall see!
